This is the standard back and side material for many builders.
It is beautiful, consistent and reliable.
East Indian offers a remarkably clean signal across the board which can sound slightly compressed when amplified.
It lacks the darkness of Brazilian but it does sustain and the bass does boom.
I feel that East Indian is best suited to flatpicking.
